this was an interesting first chapter! I'm just making sure; this story involves gods and such since you mentioned demigods and a High God? also, I would like to point out that I thought it was a hard bit to follow with the introduction of your characters, which isn't a problem, but I felt like the wording could be rearranged a bit so it's easier to know who is who? overall, I thought this was a nice start :))))
