Mmmmrrgh. I thought the brother love of Friday night's that likely will never finish was a good story and it was. But this, this seemed to just make me wish I had ever met someone like that.
I don't know what his parents think of Tyler, have no idea if Avery has a father that's alive or not, and really don't like that Avery doesn't seem bothered by Tyler's smoking and such, but I hope they live together and love each other. A bit surprised Avery wasn't that bothered by Tyler having sex with Dana or hearing about other such things. Hopefully their love won't just be something based on sex in the end.
Not sure why his nightmares are really going away or why they started, but compassion can do a lot of things for us so maybe it was that.
Please finish the story as I do look forward to reading it.
I suspect the epilogue shows what happens after high school graduation and how they deal with college and such? I was a bit worried Avery would feel he couldn't back education and such and how far it might take the two of them. Tyler does deserve a proper roommate experience at college too even if Avery would want him to stay.

Not so into the cigarette kisses one. Bothers me that Dana doesn't expose the real truth of what set off Tyler and doesn't indicate he broke their number one rule together. Honestly Dana and JC have hurt so many others that they deserve to suffer in my eyes.
Reminds me we never really did learn why Tyler was a bully and just how bad Tyler had treated Avery in school and what his thoughts were when doing so. Calling each other friends in the span of two days despite that in the earlier chapter did seem to confuse me. As did the whole testosterone comment because it seemed a bit hard to comprehend the pattern of speech there.
