I freaking love this story. Amber and Payton r such opposites but they still fell for each other. I can't wait for their roller coaster relationship to begin.

I wonder if when you say "psychotic, arrogant asshole" you don't mean "psychopathic, arrogant asshole". Psychotic is for delusions and hallucinations (which as far as I can tell Amber doesn't suffer from), whereas psychopathic is for antisocial behavior and lack of empathy (which is totally Amber's bag), and Payton seems brainy enough to know all that. Don't ask me why the names are so similar for two rather different things; psychology is dumb.
There should be a bit of a chapter dedicated to Mrs. Librarian, who actually knows EVERYTHING that goes on in the library, thanks to special powers she got from training with a master guru at the top of a Tibetan library. Hmm... Okay, maybe not that last part. Your call.
