Wonderful writing. The description given by the narrator of the girls beauty is illustrated in such a soft and gentle way that it pulled me in right away. The small details you added, like the color of her dress and the flavor of her smoothy work very well at depicting her further. The way you tied the theme into those last three sentences was great and i really relate to it's message. We sometimes become so preoccupied with a particular person that we fail to regard the others around us that matter most. :/
