Soooo delicious! So glad she got to see his real self... and to see his power and alphaness etc... that was super hot.. and crazy, and amazing! Loving this story so much... just...wow.

I'm conflicted. You always know just how to tear into our minds & hearts. When we first met Sovereign, his charter was so frightening; much like Ronan(in your Guardians fic.) There is something about their characters that just shake the room. I feel like Sovereign was influenced by others into trying to woo her, but she is a complicated beast. Much like him, they are ruled by animalistic qualities. To dominate, to kill, to reign.
Kharl can speak to her softer side, make her heart & body sing; but I feel a deep animal instict will always wish for her counterpart. No matter how she feels about it. Did they not just feel like two lions, just now. Ruled by fear, dominace, wrath, & distinction? She's a deeply damaged individual. Physically, emotionally, & mentally. I don't think I've ever read into the mind of such an unstable being. Her psychology is one that would baffle even the world's most intuitive psychologists.I enjoy slicing deeper into their mentalities with each chapter. I hope you'll continue on with more behind the scenes from Kharl & Sovereign. Perhaps even a flashback of days past. Tiberon; I smell danger around him. Like something is amiss. Something more to his character than meets the eye, I feel. Perhaps not wholly for the empire. I wonder if he's got a hidden agenda, underneath all of this.

And yeah. We see a glimpse of the true sovereign. Ha. I mean, there was just no way that a planet conquering-mass murderer-genocide-sovereign is that love puppy that he shows to Sigil.
To be honest, this side of Sovereign is kinda hot. And scary. But really hot.
I was straeting to ship Sigilxtiburon, but yup, my Sovereign*Sigil ship sailes high and migthy.

Ive read all your stories on all the different sites you post for the past year or so now. To this day I still don't know my favorite story or character because they're all so great and so alive. I really can't wait/am excited for any updates from any of your stories because I read them all but I definitely am looking forward to seeing this Soverign and Sigil relationship progress!

Wow! What an interesting turn of events - eventd that I'm happy and also unsure about. It was a surprise to see Sovereign's true colors, but also sort of a welcome one. As another reviewer said, I like how he has finally grown a backbone and let his true, dark side out. Reading about Sigil's terror was also a nice change of pace; it definitely brought her down a peg or two, as well as added to her character building.
I'm curious to see whether or not you now make Sovereign the villain of the story, or if you'll have him continue on in this fashion with Sigil growing used to his change. I kind of have a crazy theory that Tiburon's ultimate goal is to save Sigil from Sovereign because he knows/understands what Sovereign is doing (his obsessiveness with Sigil). It's been said before that they are alike. Perhaps Tiburon sees Sovereign's 'love' for her as insane (like his for the Dr was).
All ideas and theories aside, I really hope we get to see a Sigil-Sovereign baby. I'm still rooting for Sovereign (as weird as that sounds; I have a weak spot for dark characters), so I'm hoping he gets the baby he wanted. I've just read one of your reviews where the fan has suggested that Tiburon is soshiia. VERY interesting. He does have his own agenda and even Sovereign said he that is built differently. Mmmhhh.

Sovereign. Now I know why he's the leader. Not the fury, ruthlessness or that beautiful demon face but his ability to take charge, make decisions and use every ploy to win.
In her fear, Sigil is coming alive. There's no better reminder of your self when you sense your own fear. In accepting that there are bigger monsters than her, she can accept who she is and move forward rather than be in a state of suspension and apathy.
Thank you for a gory but transformational chapter.

It's so interesting to see the new sides of both Sovereign and Sigil- the monster and the fearful. I'm sad Jerla is dead, but it really did end up showing Sovereign's real face. Thank you for the chapter!
