I simply feel that she is doing what is done to her..Somehow the uncertainty of Jake's feelings towards her initially and afterwards is making the story less could have been depicted as the man who was not committed to a loving him in her whole life where as he was sleeping with her best friend in her teen..I simply expect her to throw him in dustbin or to consider him as big bro instead of loving him.

ok so i went and read your last chapter on kindle unlimited.. at least there was an ending.. i thought you just left it as is.. anyway .. pretty good story . happy i read it and that you finished it.. aside from the balloon being predictable .. great job. i can see this turning into a a series for the other characters. i loved em and john and hope they come to find their own loves if you continue and you should i would most def read them. keep up the good work and keep having fun in your writing and congrats on publishing on kindle.. you did an amazing job. thumbs up hunny. keep on writing.

What kind of a man is Jake? How about you fire your ex so that this tart can stop causing problems in your life and while you're at it figure out what you want from Katie! If you want a darn serious relationship then be firm about it, stop leading her on like you have been all these years and clear her doubts! Woo her like you were supposed to! In fact make up for all the times that you were being just a big fat TEASE.

I understand that Katie is confused and doesn't know who to trust or what to believe. But she is being annoying. She is not thinking rationally. I mean think about it Jake and her were fighting for the chemistry that they have and she thinks he'd throw it away for the ex he dumped her for.

She needs to give him another has always been her friend and been there for her. Grace has been manipulative whenever Jake was involved. Why not have Grace admit what she did. Hopefully they will give each other time to realize that they truly love each other.

Aah... Poor Katie. I understand why she decided not to trust Jake for now. Of course Jake wasn't same with Kevin and she knew Jake since forever. But with everything happened with Kevin, it's understandable that she chose not to trust any men in her love life.
But still, the way you describe how hurt Jake was makes me feel sad too :((

Shit mess she's gone through. I'd like to think that after knowing Jake all these years, she would give him the benefit of the doubt. I mean the way Grace was early on, she has to see that she would do whatever was necessary to try and get what she wants. I mean really - which one does she know better, that's kind of a given. Jake & Kevin have absolutely nothing in common - so she really can't lump them together - with not being able to trust one or the other.

Wow! I didn't see that coming. Nice twist there to the story. I had a feeling the person that attempted to break in before would pop up since no one was home but I couldn't believe it was her ex. Nice job.
