So, this seems to be the end of Nathaniel and Azure's long rivalry. Eh, in the end he really did pull a Mafloy, mostly just going along with the flow and what not.
So yah, not quite the showdown I was expecting but Azure had a Batman level solid plan and his rival did not stand a chance. So, one score settled but many more to go, we will see how it goes from here.

Sounds like mostly a day in the stock market today. Though, we did get a bit of incite in to Nathaniel, seems he is not a TOTAL A whole with his sister but, not even if he is feeling the pressure just like Draco Malfoy, dude is still a kind of a big A hole. Meanwhile Azure dances closer to the dark side to get things done, him and Suzaku Kururugi from Code Geass would get along well as they talk about descending to a heartless state for the sake of change lol. Well, we will see where it goes, till next time.

So, more plotting, at least we are getting a trip out of this, almost feels like James Bond. Well, Azure pulled some some smooth moves, was almost a little to easy, you would think Heidrich would not have been so cocky, but, I guess arrogance and laziness come hand in hand. So, we will see where it goes from here. I will say, the fantasy element has barley been present so far, wondering when that will come back, I guess it took a while to show up in Orochid to, so we will see.

What the hell? When did the Seraphim Knights become evil? I thought they were separate from the military and would be the ones to keep them in check. That, or the knights would be systematically murda'd like the Jedi. Just how much time has passed while Azure was incarcerated?
Speaking of Azure, does he still have his wealth, like Martha Stewart? lol
I really feel sorry for Tsukiko. She has to live in abandoned buildings and remain in hiding because she refused to bend over for the military. She's a fugitive but she hasn't done anything illegal except be born. Dem jerks be hatin'.

Well, the reunion was not as bloody as I wondered, guess they were a civil bunch. So, more speeches laced with symbolism but otherwise, not much of substance, at least not major ones in my eyes. I guess he got his sword back, good thing his enemies did not care to much about holding on to it.
So, yah, guess we will see how this new war of the " Roses" goes.

So, a reunion with Xaiver, kind of. By now I wonder what happened to Macbeth and the rest, some of them survived I hoped since there are still plenty of scores to settle. So, the plan reminds me of something Tony Stark did in Iron Man when he tried to get his business back from Hammer or Osborn or someone, we will see how this plan goes I guess.
So, mostly yacking this chapter, hopefully things pick up soon.

So, Nathan is still a jerk, though its clear he has daddy issues, reminds me even more of Drago Mafloy now. So, now back to square zero, and now we have to deal with Xaiver again, I guess. We will see where it goes from here.

So, is that the ultimate answer of how Azure escaped? He just, got released? Well, if your not finishing the intermission, I guess that is so. Still, not what I was expecting.
Meanwhile, mostly catching up with things, though it seems Nathaniel is still going to be a problem, about time the Maxwell s have Karma catch up to them, hard.

I really like the opening images you have in the first couple paragraphs. I think you set the scene perfectly by showing me Tsukiko's surroundings instead of just telling them to me. Instead of saying, "it was cold," you make sure to say she's wearing a parka and that her breath is white when she exhales. From the mention of "holiday decorations" I'm thinking Christmas, but I know it could be something entirely different since this story is in a fictional world. Still, though, you immediately ground me in a setting that feels familiar although it isn't familiar to me, and it really helps with the immersion.
I also like the sense of tension you instill when it's mentioned that a wanted poster of her face is attached to a lamppost. Instead of coming out and saying "She's a wanted criminal" you show me this by using the prop of the poster. It makes me wonder what she's done, what type of situation she's in, and if someone might recognize her. And then you amp up that tension even more by mentioning nearby footsteps. It all comes together as a very nice opening that hooks a reader's attention.

Well, it seems all right so far but I admit I am just, confused since there are some gaps missing and not quite sure how your going to fill the gaps.
