Love the concept of this, and this was an intriguing first chapter! And Maya's attitude is refreshingly awesome. My only advice is to add a bit more description with the dialogue - for the first half, I wasn't quite sure where the conversations were taking place (but it's totally possible that's just oversight on my part). Can't wait for more!
