I very much enjoyed the interaction with the cat, it was sweet and endearing. Especially the pawing him to check he's not broken. It tells of Scribe's warm character. Secondly, I love the reference to librarians and dragons! Ha! Having frequented in libraries most of my teen years I have to agree! Naturally funny and actually keeping your chapters to topic and character focused makes them easy to read and enjoy. Hope the feedback helps. Thanks for sharing, ZB.
