Okay, you've definitely taken the story here in an odd direction. I'm uncertain why and how Ragnar knows exactly how to bust in at the right moment (unless he has some kind of enhanced senses, perhaps shared with the others). Likewise, the bodyguards seem rather shit compared to the protagonists (although that's a genre convention of sorts). Still not sure exactly what and why they are being hired on for, though.
