I feel as though we may be struggling through the same "quarter-life crisis." This was relatable (perhaps too much for me) and well written, with impeccable flow, wonderful imagry, and perhaps just a touch of perfectly placed snark. Wonderful.

Hello!
I love this! You have captured my own feelings and emotions perfectly. I had exactly this problem today, dragging myself out of the house to go to work for my first day back after the Christmas holidays, and it was awful. Just like the character in your piece, all I wanted to be doing was writing, especially because of the fact I have just started writing something completely new (Yellow). I literally cannot believe the similarities; it's like you have just written my own thoughts!
The line "reality to make a living, but not living," wow, that was so powerful. It is so true. We spend our lives working and not doing what we actually want to be doing (writing!) just for money, and it's actually quite sad. Great job writing something that conveys so much meaning and impact.
I also enjoyed some of the lovely vocabulary you use, such as the word "causeless."
And, of course, my favourite line is the final line, again because I myself have experienced this - focusing on my writing and ending up being late for work! :p
Thanks for this awesome read and keep writing!
