Oh Calix. This is so clever, because I can totally understand Calix's perspective, but I'm also aware of the bigger picture. Calix's mind has warped into a dangerous tunnel vision. Wyatt knows, he mentioned the seperation anxiety. It's like watch a slow car crash. Everything seems so safe and dangerous at the same time. I feel like we have reached impact now, though. I feel like the big change is going to have to start soon. Whether it be Dax or the sledge being ready, or a stranger wandering into the picture.

I like how their relationship is kinda animalistic, its interesting.
Im really curious to see if Calix's feelings will change once he gets out of there, will Wyatt's promise to keep him scare the fuck out of him or not?

Your writing is so exceptional! I envy it so much. God, every time I read your stories, the characters just stay stuck in my head and I find myself unable to focus on any damn thing. That's the beauty of your writing. I'll admit, I'm a big fan that quietly reads your work but today, I had to say something. My goodness, I love this story to death!

Let's review Chapter 16's "Romeo and Juliet".
Well, the reinforcement of the star-crossed lovers continue on. We've seen this theme before, and it feels like the writing is trying to extend the "borrowed time" you have going on the story. In this latest installment, the plot progression almost comes to a halt because of Calix's clear obsession and infatuation with Wyatt. Although the "I love you"s are a new thing introduced, still this has barely pushed the plot to progress. Hoping for more movement soon!
Oh! Of course, special mention to a Canuck/Calix cameo appearance. He's so cute - Canuck, that is - and it's a nice break from Wyatt. Also hoping to see more appearance from him, too, and hopefully something with a bigger narrative role than being on Wyatt's heated gaze.
I give this chapter a 7/10. Could use more plot movement but otherwise everything's okay! More! :)

I'm so glad Calix finally confessed his feelings! He's definitely spiralling downwards. You are taking the time to showcase his PTSD and how it is manifesting... and kudos to Wyatt for noting that. This chapter really great in showing that they're finally getting over fighting... I can tell it won't last tho so I'm looking forward to the next few chapters.

Eeeiii..I just wanna eat Calix up. He's too cute.
I love it when Wyatt loses himself with Calix.
It wouldn't let me review the last chapter for some reason but they were both fantastic.

Alright, I need to give Chapter 6 a proper review.
Damn! What was with that line of not being, "used to people"? I was gonna call bullshit on that. Like I said before, Wyatt seemed pretty cool with Calix and personal space. Not hating though because then this is saying that Calix is an exception. And that is a sign of Wyatt holding some affections for little Calix. Except I read Chapter 7 now, and yes, I can see that Wyatt is not used to people. This whole chapter is undeniable proof.
What surprises me the most is how much my face heated up. There was no sex, hell, no dick pulled out either, and I was fanning myself. I can't say this enough. It's 'cause of your awesome writing. Small details, man.
Like Wyatt's irregular breathing or Calix exposed neck! Woo! The detail that got to me the most was when Wyatt scrunched up his eyebrows while looking at Calix. We can only imagine what ran through his head, but if it was something like, "Fuck" then-! Not only that, but Calix must have looked hot while all fucked up. So much with just a couple of words.
Can I build a temple for you?
If only I can favorite this again!

When Wyatt asked to "'Hold your fucking hand?'", I immediately laughed 'cause I thought, "Naw, man. He wants you to hold his dick." Sex ensued. Haha.
Also, I realized Wyatt is very touchy-grabby for a dude who doesn't mind living in the woods alone. I'm not complaining. Nope, I'm nowhere near complaining when Wyatt and Calix are having these little tickles fights.
EEEEEEEWWWWWW. (You know what's this for.) What the fuck. I didn't know a gash could turn that nasty. Actually, I do, but I just- Ew! Props, though. A lot of other authors would try to downplay an injury for the sake of "getting it on".
"'I'll give you something better later, okay?'" Oh man, I had a field day with this line. Did you do this on purpose, you sneaky person!
More Dax. I don't know what to make of this new info. It only reveals that Calix had been a pampered younger brother. Does this have anything to do thought with how he sees himself compared to Wyatt? Like why Calix is so, "Why am I weak?" The only puny conclusion I can make is that in Calix's former bubble, his masculinity was never threatened, so this is new. I don't like this conclusion and I think it's off.
That ending, though! I was thinking about Human Resource and shit. "Calix, we think the work environment would be relieved from some internal tension if you and Canuck were willing to understand each other."
Mmmm, I still think I overthought for Calix's thoughts. I'm overthinking that. Damn, I really need the next chapter.
