Okay second, I loved Soul Bound! I really think you should keep on that re-write and finishing it after you've satisfied yourself with Alpha. The minute I saw the title of this chapter I was wondering exactly what kind of grinding we were dealing with? The good kind? Turns out I was right lol
"I'm not Calix." That is perfectly fine with me. Calix can take a vacation while Not Calix enjoys the wolf daddy that is Wyatt. Not Calix is with the program of doing whatever Wyatt's heart desires, no questions asked lol I mean, look at the reward that comes with it. Whew *fans myself*
I loved them playing, it was so much fun. Calix being alpha? Say what? lol It was the funniest thing in the world when they started mocking each other, especially Wyatt. I could hear it so clearly lol and I would love to see him laughing like that. I bet it was endearing.
And then comes the biting. Calix had the right idea, milking that opportunity for everything it was worth. And hm, maybe Wyatt likes it a little rough; he could stand a nibble or two. But I think he likes licking a lot more if his weak shaky command to stop and hard-on are anything to go by. He got excited real fast after that; zero to a hundred in a second. Calix should be careful when he starts things with Wyatt, I thought we learned this already lol either way, it was pretty hot.
My favorite part of this chapter by far was the beginning, from the first line to Wyatt challenging Calix to pet him. It was adorable, Wyatt actually explaining how he doesn't want Calix to go. He'll tire of him eventually? Please. The two of them are meant to be. Also, if Calix hadn't mentioned he'd been there for two day, I would have completely forgotten. Actually, I had already forgotten. I feel like they've been together forever. Wyatt going out and finding Calix's backpack seems like a distant memory. Says a lot about these two as a couple, huh? I think so.
I noticed Calix didn't look at his watch during this endeavor. I like it. Of course, who would think to look at their watch when they're enjoy the alpha?

You wanna know what I'm wondering? How the hell do you know what bear meat taste like? Of course, you could be making it up 'cause there's a small chance someone reading it actually knows how bear meat taste, but still. That's what's glaring in my mind right now.
Actually, not really. Haha. I'm also wondering about that brother, Dax. I haven't given him much thought (all my attention goes to the lovely pair), but thinking about it, I can't think of a legit reason for what he did. Who leaves someone else without a single useful tool of navigation? For real, what the fuck?
Not only that, I noticed something else. When Calix was eating the bear meat, he commented how Wyatt didn't seem to mind how sloppy he was about it, unlike his brother. That stuck out like a sore thumb. So Dax doesn't like it when Calix use his manners while eating. Hmmm. This could be a trivial piece of info to give Dax some character, but it just stuck to me.
AAAYYYYYY! When Calix said he was jealous of Wyatt's body, oh Lord! Calix, you aren't jealous of Wyatt's hot bod, you're just jealous that he isn't using it play with you (if you know what I mean). Haha, joking, but for real, I fell in love with this pair even more, and not just 'cause of the Wyatt's sexy lumberjack body, but contrasts are always lovely.
Anyway, my heart broke a little when Wyatt got mad at Calix. "NO, YOU CAN'T CALL FOR HELP!" The favor didn't help either. How can Calix never mention Wyatt to anyone else after everything is done? (I actually hope this never ends.) I completely understand why, but my heart is failing to pump some blood when I imagine the sad endings that can come with this if Wyatt's wish comes through. Aaahhh. Why is the world so cruel?!

Dude, when the stitching began, I was cringing and twitching. Ahh, the muscle tissue, the blood, the needle poking! Funny, 'cause it wasn't explicit. (not hating, well just a little on my sensitivity.)
Anyway! When Wyatt began to ruffle Calix's hair, I lost it. I have no idea what set me off. I think it's because he had bright eyes some shit like that. I mean, come on, that's some good foreshadowing shit there. Is Wyatt already fascinated with Calix already? I obviously have no idea, but the idea is teasing me!
Canuck. I don't know what to say. I find it a little funny how a wolf, a relatively wild one though, was all possessive and territorial over Wyatt. "My master!" I just hope Canuck doesn't hurt little Calix.
What! "Muscular bare back", you really know how to end on a good note. Yes, I'm ignoring the dead bear. Hehe.

I come (hehe) on this site to see that you have updated Fifty-Fifty and started on a new story! Not only that, but up to nine chapters! I fucking feel like reaching toward a cloud and breaking that shit because there's got to be some cotton candy up in there. Life is good!
It's only the first chapter and I'm already vibrating with this kind of excitement that's making me feel like a rocket about to blast off. It's so hard to maintain control of my motor coordination right now.
Lemme just organize my thoughts and emotions. The shit's more tangled than some earbuds.
Oh my Lord, Calix. I can only imagine how he must feel. Being in the woods- no wait, worse- being lost on the woods... there are no words for that fear. Well, you know it's 'cause us city folks don't know how to tell North from the crack down South even if ours lives depended on it. But for real though, Calix and I were on the same boat. 10:34 pm and I was like, "Oh shit! Oh my God. Oh shit" just imagining how dark it was, let alone the trees, dirt, and animals.
Don't get me started on the bear.
When Mr. Wyatt the Lumberjack busted through and saved his life, I was 125% ready to suck that man's dick and I wasn't even the one in danger.
It was from here where my emotion calibrator was spazzing out. I couldn't stop laughing when things got a little serious and when things were getting little more humorous, I was still trying to recover from the serious shit. Like when Calix said that little comment about Wyatt being a cannibal, I actually laughed out loud. I was still in that after-mood of a good laugh when Calix just puked. "Oh shit, what the fuck just happened." I just wanted to hug and comfort Calix, pat his back and shit.
Wyatt! Oh my gosh! My face feels hot just from thinking about him. Tall, muscular, and commanding man saving our injured protagonist. I already love him and that little hint of humor ("captured by a cannibal") won me over. It's all about Wyatt and Calix right now.

I loved reading this story. It's surreal but very well thought and written. I had a simile the whole time. It's been a while since I've read something with a bit more rough undertones. It's all screwed but at the same time totally fascinating :) I liked the dynamics because they are funny and at the same time they are not. Especially appreciated is the dual aspect of rationality - instinct and how at the beginning the mind prevailed with now instinct has a larger role. And it's adorable how Calix seeks affection from Wyatt. Wyatt is hot and the descriptions are perfect: I felt affected and could feel what Calix was feeling at the time. The interaction between the characters is addicting. Can't wait for more. Love your style
