Ah! That would hurt so much D: I really liked it though... Haha it was well written and I can't believe Calix is such a lightweight but then again he lost a lot of blood so I'll forgive him. I really enjoyed the touching of the beard too! Haha.

Bless your soul, another update! What a pleasant surprise ! I really liked this new installment. Is it wrong that I like seeing Canuck bullying Calix? Wyatt getting all authority like, gets me flushed; which has me worrying about my mental state lol. As always with this story, I love it and need more of it!

Oooo, now I'm wondering if Wyatt is right...is Dax trying to become an only child? So many scenarios swirling around in my brain! Update soon!

Chapter 4's "Fits and Fights" reveals much of the internal conflicts that Calix supposed to have encountered from the beginning of the story. It's like addressing the "disappearance" of Dax and seeing the effects of his sudden departure to Calix's thinking. I like it, and the mixture of the mains' fighting is good character development, for both of them.
As I said, we see Calix's inner thoughts regarding his recent traumatic experience. If the Canadian Rockies are really that scary, I can't believe that Calix is going through this whole ordeal okay. But that's okay, because he's got Chris Pratt to calm him down. But in the end, we're still speculating on what REALLY happened to Dax. It's a nice touch to the story, makes it more interesting, that Wyatt's theory might be onto something.
On Wyatt's side, we see glimpses of what he's really made of as the chapters move on. Of course, since we're in a first-person POV, we don't have a narrator to show us on how Wyatt really feels, and the readers will have to settle in theorizing many things. But hell, the OTP is existing, even if it's just non-romantic so far. We have skinship now so we'll have to see what happens next.
I like how Calix seem so innocent and simple, totally different from the mean-mouthed Colby of HoaM and secretive Gavin of PT. He seems like a very nice boy, and I think Wyatt is starting to see this. He can't even stay angry for too long at him. Calix's lines make me go say "awww" from time to time. Wyatt, on the other hand, is strong and awkward. Hey, maybe he really hasn't shed a tear in his life, has he?
I give this chapter an 8/10 for well-executed (and short) conflict between the mains and adorable apologies. Keep it up, Calico!
P.S. I hope Calix and Canuck gets along soon!

That was really nasty you dirty dirty boy.

"What are you going to do for me?" Ain't that a sexual line or ain't that a sexual line!?
Don't play me like that!
*secretly really pleased, but plays indifferent*

Did Wyatt wash his body before laying beside Calix? #quehorror
Anyways, yes, I am enjoying the dynamic between the two. You seem to reinforce the airheadedness of Calix and Wyatt's obvious strong voice. It's sort of subtle, and meant to intentional, that you're making Wyatt's dialogues stronger and more commanding than Calix's. Of course, I'm loving the adorable airhead Calix; he just seems so out of it! Haha!
We get some sneak peek on what Chris Pr-Wyatt is doing most of the time in the mountains and some insight regarding his lifestyle. When he said "off the grid", I thought he must have a secret identity. Oh my God, wouldn't it be crazy if Wyatt turned out to be a CIA agent deep undercover? Like some Bourne Legacy type of setting? Hahaha!
Special mention to the bedside conversation. It sent me tingles but for actual movement of the story, it's kinda slow. But it's a nice setup. 8/10 at least for gory scenes and Alpha101.
