I like the idea of this story. It seems cute and interesting. While I do think Kai's character is a bit off, I know first hand how awkward it can be to write in a male point of view if you're not used to it or if you just in general have trouble doing it. Still, I did enjoy this chapter and I'm looking forward to seeing Kai's character develop more, as well as learning more about Reese.
