I very much enjoyed the original story and it is one Ire-visit every now and then. It's been awhile since I was last live on fictionpress and it was a very pleasant surprise finding this.
In my humble opinion you write well and your stories flow along in a natural way that makes it possible to connect with you characters who come across as real people. Also you've done a good job on writing from Dallas's point of view.
I hope to read more of your work in the future.
