You've done a really great job conveying emotion, and I really enjoyed your choice to use all lower case letters. It's an extra touch to bring the general feel down, and a great choice.
My only suggestion would be to watch out for each section's length, by which I mean you move from 5 lines to 6, to 5, to 4 to 5 to 6.
