I really like this story! Artemis is such a strong and interesting character - I'm looking forward to seeing how she fairs meeting her almost-rapist.
Some of the chapters at the beginning were a little rough - the story was great, but it was a little abrupt in scene changes in a way that made me feel like i was missing something, but obviously the quality has increased a ton since then. Definitely worth riding it out! :)

There’s one thing that doesn’t make any sense to me in this entire story - Artemis never speaks up when she should. I’m not sure if you’re trying to paint her as ignorant or meek, it’s coming off as meek and idiotic. Like the whole “servants clothes” mix up, is it that she just doesn’t want people to know who she actually is, and that on some level still rejects the title of Consort? I’m not getting that. She strikes me as a dumb gaping fish instead of someone who is quiet, but silently observing and learning.

I can see why Gideon was amused at her. Artemis was so good without realizing herself!

Lol what a brilliant reply! xD she didn't disappoint taking initiative asking around to learn everything. Even better that now she was close with everyone. Gideon should not really worry for her and start teaching her if he want to get brownie point from her :D
