I didn’t exactly know what was going on the whole time, but somehow, in all the madness, there was entertainment gold. A crowning achievement.
The last couple of lines made it for me.

You have achieved your objective. This was mad. The first third of the story was a bit slow, picked up after they broke up, and I couldn't stop laughing at the ninjas. The story has got this weird not-quite-anime, not-quite-pulp-fiction, not-quite-expendables feel to it. Great characterization; I love the way everyone simultaneously runs interference and works well together. Samurai-Ninja dynamic is my favorite.

FUN does not begin to describe this - love it, Viper! This kind of surreal, random, deep-fried-pickles humor is definitely your forte, and in particular the voices you give your narrators when you write these. Well done!

Loved it! Don't have time to list all the lovable things in this chapter but the first one that really tickled me was 'kung-fu theater'. I used to watch a cable show by that name as a kid on Saturday nights and I knew exactly what you were describing. Awesome :)
