It might only be my imagination, but isn't this very much like Attack on Titan. Becomes an elite/ survey corps because a spawner/titan killed his loved one. A spawner/titan attack close to the last day of training. Humans can become spawner/titan. The story is great with different twists and different it's just it seems inspired from Attack on Titan.
