I love your stories! Everything you write is amazing. I have read them all and haven't found one I don't like. You have a wonderful sense of imagination. The drama and mystery is balanced with the humanity and humor of your characters. Great work!

An impressive first chapter. You manage to portray a lot of character in almost everything you write, catching every bit of detail with even the smallest of dialogue. Aside from some awkward wording here and there, this is a very well polished story. There's a great deal of imagination here, carving an excellent picture of the world with lots of attention to detail. It was pretty easy to picture where exactly each scene took place and what was going in.
My only criticism (and one that can usually be made easily about any fantasy story with things like magic in it) is once the fire magic (Power? Dragon abilities? ect?) comes into play. Not everything is supposed to be explained for fully fleshed out in the very first chapter - you have the entire remainder of your novel to do that sort of thing. However, I always find it somewhat inhibiting whenever something magical happens (like when Bunny imbues Camry with fire powers) and there isn't really a rhyme or reason to WHY does things happen and HOW those things develop. Call it a personal nitpick, but I always like to see the "science" of these mystical things. Something to make these things more logical. Yeah, it's fantasy, but I always feel like it could be a little more than just "poof, it happens because it happens".
Anyway, keep up the good work.
