Beautiful. I reread this piece multiple times trying to give it my own meaning. I've always loved that about your poetry, like, how I can tell they have some significant and/or specific meaning for you as the author, yet are easily open to interpretation/application to the reader as well. As any good poetry should do, I suppose. Summary: You're a wonderful poet. 3
PS You might have meant "bouquet of roses." Or did you indeed mean banquet?
