I had a little internal chuckle at your note at the end about heavily inspired by Ys, because I was reading the whole thing like it was inspired by Dungeons and Dragons- but I think that says more about me than you.
I liked it- like.. actually liked it. Not just kinda saying nice things on the internet liked it. I'm interested to see you flesh it out a bit more, and where you're going with the whole Diggory thing. Good luck with your writing!
