Hey man! finally getting around to reading more of your stuff and I stumble across this gorgeous piece. gotta say, poetry isn't my thing, but i really like your use of cadence in this one compared to some of your others, (not that I don't also like the others). I dunno, I guess I just really vibe with this one too, it's really just a statement of who you are, who we all are as creators, and I relate to that a lot. I feel like sometimes people outside our circles don't understand the need to create. It's so much more than just something we DO. keep it up man!

I had to read this a couple times to get the flow down, at first it felt mostly disjointed. Beautiful words, but...different from your normal writing style. Kudos for trying something new.

This poem strikes me as a bit more "stream of consciousness"-esque than some of your prior poems. Instead of dealing with heavier topics like feelings and nostalgia, this one sounds more like the joys you get from writing. Or, perhaps better put, it carries the air of someone more than willing to accept the challenge to come up with a finished product for one reason or another (inspiration, the sheer desire just to write *something*, etc.) I also like how you kept it very accessible, rather than overloading it with vague imagery or overly-ornate words.
