Huh, this is really interesting! the irregular rhyming and the other devices you utilize - like occasional alliteration, little bits of repetition, etc - all makes it feel like a real classical poem. It feels like it could've been passed down by oral tradition. Even though you mentioned GSW, what it kind of reminds me of is your other story, the Lost Queen story.
I don't usually read poetry on here, but stuff like this makes me think I should get back into it. :)

WOW, this is so beautiful! Maybe it's just me but it has a really Tolkienish feel... the last part especially reminds me a lot of Beren and LĂșthien! I really hope it's going to be connected to GSW; I'd love to read more about these characters!
