Knowledge is definitely free and infinite for those of us who are seeking it willingly. We are also seeking wisdom and He promises that He will freely give it to us when we ask Him for it. Of course, He makes this promise in James 1:5.
By the way, I love how you compare yourself to a bird who is flying across the infinite skies of knowledge. We definitely love to learn and the sky is the limit.
