This was a great story! How some events in the story changed without any explanation is completely like the mindset of a 6-year old. XD
Chapter 2 also reminded me of Finding Nemo (*cough* Chapter 4 *cough*). I noticed that one of your friends back then was named Chris. Chris Davidson, perhaps?
