Hello again. I wish this would continue too cuz I want to see how they end up. Hopefully married. I can’t remember if they were in broken bottles I don’t think so. But I’d want to see everyone’s relationship. Happy writing

Tom took what he wanted from a young woman living on the brink of destitution, trying to support herself but most of all her brother. What he did was a terrible thing...but you managed to turn a very unpleasant event into a wholesome story. I loved it. Again, it’s just pure escapism. I would be happy to read a Tom/Ruth story.
Tom has a vulnerability to him, which I like. Ruth is a sweetheart.
Again, I was sucked right in to this vivid work you have created! Thank you!

This was such a pleasant surprise, for I had been silently hoping to read a back story of this pair.
Ruth's short recollection their past had made me very curious and this certainly did not disappoint.
Their relationship is very interesting. Both seem to want more, but the monetary nature of their beginning seems to hinder things. Their developing relationship was such an interesting read: it had both exasperating parts and lovely parts in it.
I wonder if Tom's past has made him think that he could not keep a partner without this monetary deal. Sounds to me that he has not had a girl without tossing money at her. Also, Micky's comments about his brothers ugliness makes it seem as if Tom has to hear about this habitually. That must affect his self-image... and therefore he can not imagine Ruth agreeing to a marriage?
In a way, this leaves more questions to be answered. I can't wait to read more of them in the Broken Bottles' story line! :D

Why don't you continue and finish with savage love first before any other story

In unison with another review I’ve been dying all quarantine hoping for a Broken Bottles update so I was so happy to see this side story posted! And to see more of Ruth’s back story as well! :)

I enjoyed this little snippet of Ruth and Tom’s history! Anything Broken Bottles is a winner with me. I do wish he would marry her. I know from both stories that’s what she wants.
