I’ve got to say, I really appreciate the way you’ve brought these characters to life in your writing. The atmosphere you’ve crafted, especially the transition from day to night, is so rich and detailed. The vivid description of Lautus and Azymus, the way you capture the tension between the city’s quiet surface and the chaos simmering underneath—it all sets the stage for such a gripping story. The girl’s resilience is really striking, and the action sequences are so well-written. There’s a rawness to the encounter in the alley, and the tension between the characters is palpable. Your pacing and ability to maintain suspense while giving the characters depth is impressive.
