This was a beautiful and moving haiku. I liked the comparison with the river willows, as well as how it started out powerful and optimistic, with "our lives flow upstream", and ended up with "shriven and dying". Beautiful and thought-provoking, so much emotions in just three lyrics. Keep up the great work. I always like reading your works.
