Oh, what an incredibly painful situation for both of them! Guess his confidence and pride shattered with his body. Hopefully he will recognize that his worth is in his person, not his body and not in his ability. Olaia may not be the most patient person, but hopefully she can balance waiting for him when needed and pushing him when needed. Ouch, that last sentence was rough. Looking forward to them being together again soon.

Very satisfying end to Pelas! Good riddance! Maybe now there will be hope for peace. As for the other, I agree with Olaia. - "Nonononono"! Wow, she cut off his arm! I mean, I understand since it was basically already severed off, but still what a hard decision and action, not that she even really had time to think about it. Really glad that Davari isn't as bad as we were led to believe for awhile. I hate discord in families. Hope the brothers can reconcile and that Davari and Olaia can learn to peacefully tolerate one another at the very least.
So, so glad that they are back together, even in such horrible condition! They both HAVE to get better! Solus will probably not be able to be the Champion with only one arm, but he and Olaia could rule the kingdom together and maybe if there is peace there won't even be a need for a champion, or he could be a mento/leader/instructor for a new champion if necessary.
Anyway, I'm rambling, but very exciting chapter.

Ok hold up I just finished reading the chapter and I clearly left my review too early. Oh emm gee. This was equal parts intense and funny “this is unclean” oh the way I cackled. Something about her taming him is deliciously evil. I do worry that this is a dream! Or that he’ll say something he’ll regret because he is bull headed and still follows his religion And can’t express himself I just know it

I do love his characterization and I think many women want a man like this patient, soft yet firm, stable, secure. I don’t think he would hurt her while she was vulnerable. Some men do but I don’t think he would. It’s a complex time so I think their characters are well written

When I tell you I’m screaming in the car I mean it. So much tension oh lawd. I feel their emotions. She’s upset about his hand in her fate and he wants her badly. Even though he is a brute she is quite the savage ha ha this is good and I do hope they can work through it. I still think the brothers should burn!

It’s funny he gets two different answered from the priest and priestess haha but I like his character bc he is noble even if he isn’t entirely good nor bad. And I agree with her that it wasn’t just him he was under orders from his king father. The brothers must be jealous of her power and I hope she still has supporters and she can bring peace
