Beautiful crafted story that I was fully invested in from the moment Colette ran through her hometown to become a Paladin all the way to all of the paladins living their lives to the fullest post the war. It was an adventure that brought humor, tears and excitement! Well done and cannot wait to see what the next adventure you have in store is!

Some of this epilogue is surprising to me for example Cy and Amorette both expressed in their books that they wanted kids I remember. Cy said he wanted lots of kids and said he couldn't wait and Amorette was sad that Cupid wanted to wait to have children until after the war. But very good overall it was very nice to see everyone again what an amazing series author! Great accomplishment to finish it! Good luck on your other parts of the journey

Firmin is a P-A-I-N - him creeping him around is dragging down the story to the point it was very hard to muster any sort of excitement for Manon's pregnancy. From what I can tell, the author is building up to a final confrontation in Petrus L (ending where it all began), but right now he isn't doing the plot any favours. To me, the high point of the Paladins series was Queen Radelle's beheading (writing and its foreshadowing), and fingers crossed for a grand finale to top that.
Back to the potential pregnancy, we all knew it was coming, unless there's an infertility twist. Or maybe a miscarriage or forced abortion. At least this will see an ending, unlike Sybille's pregnancy with twins - which was just left hanging (unlike Colette who we were told had a baby girl).

There is very little suspense or tension between them I feel unlike people attracted to each other. Maybe part of it is a bit childlike romancing but thryre also adults so feels somewhat shljld be there
