for Dancing With Death

One summer, my mom and I watched every Woody Allen movie we could get our hands on, and while I haven't seen Love and Death, I completely get that profound impact his movies can have (at the time, the one that got me was Crimes and Misdemeanors, but Take the Money and Run was somehow the most tragic, looking back).

And yes, we all have to dance with death no matter what choices we make, so I think the important thing is to be happy with those choices. You're not just letting the pain or your vision problems get to you-you're taking steps to solve them. Life can be a joke if you make it one, but...who wants to live that way? And if being bitter is what pushes you to do everything to not become like your father, then maybe being bitter isn't the worst thing either.
