I don't quite know what a Kimo is so I am not the best judge of how good it is in that regard. However, judging by the words alone, keeping in mind that I have no knowledge on this type of poetry, seems a little flat. The poem just feels a little dead in the water and raises no reactions or anything in me and kind of just washes over without an impact or it really registering anything. Perhaps I would see more if I knew what a Kimo is.
I appreciate you celebrating the Jewish holiday this way and giving it recognition. You are to be applauded for that, but this one just doesn't do much for me.
