I can't explain it in words...It's a great story.A sad story.

Can you write a prequel to this?

Very interesting story. You told it well and managed to pack a lot in a very short piece. It makes you wonder if this crazy species of ours will ever reach that point for real. It reminded me of that scene in the original "Plainet of the Apes" when Charleston Heston finds the Statue of Liberty buried in the sand and says, "They did it. They really did it."

Yeesh! When I read "One planet down, eight to go"... Yikes. A sad one, and all the more effective for its brevity.

Hmm . . . sequel? I like the idea of the madman. Perhaps he can survive and try to wipe out those who escaped . . . But it's up to you. :-) Liked the story, btw.

You give mass destruction the human touch. I like it! He seems so desperate, but so jaded. Maybe you should write a history on this guy...
