OH MY GOD I never thought they would be thé same person. Lonryo and Teague. I thought Teague was a kind of son or nephew of Lonryo, half human half dragon, but that they are simply the same person ! This is the kind of "love triangle" I want to read. Thanks for this amazing plot twist, this should be turned into a movie haha

Hello hello! It's been over a decade since I last read this; I'm 30 now and was spontaneously reminded of this novel today due to a very random scene on a relative's television. When I didn't immediately see it on my old favorites list, I thought for sure it would be in paperback form by now, but I could remember so little that I felt sure I would never find it. I did some spontaneous clicking and here you are, after all! I'm thrilled to be able to revisit Dragon's Gift. Thank you for allowing it to stay up after all of these years. 3

I finally finished reading Dragon's Gift. I really wanted to find good stories about dragons here on Fictionpress & I was lucky enough to find this one. I'm a little new to Fictionpress so I didn't realize that you revised your story or that it has been a work in progress for 10 years? I really enjoy stories where a human & dragon fall in love (now if only I could find a good story where the human was male and the dragon was female). I'm also amazed & have some mixed feelings about the length of your story. On one hand it was a lot to take in for one story, but on the other hand your story was richly detailed & developed because of it. Dragon's Gift earns a 5/5 & I look forward to start reading it's sequel.

This was a cute story :) I really liked it. I kind of suspected that Teague was Lonryo but that's okay. I don't usually like this sort of conflict but you revealed it pretty early on which I'm really, really thankful for. Your setting and world-building was also really good.
