Wow. Very good. A very bitter tone, which is very effective. The lats line is good; it clearly shows how useless the help is (I also like the alliteration). It makes me think of what people are trying to do to save the earth, to remedy what humans have done to it. Mostly, the hgelp is ineffective, especially when its given JUST to soothe a guilty conscience.
Keep on writing; your talent is definitely worth it.

well i dont know for sure what you meant by this, but what i got out of it was a sense of anger towards people that i already felt lol... when people never cease to tell you howhelpful and wonderful they are for all their charitable acts, when they make the most thoughtless, least effort possible. grr lol. nice =0)
