I agree- schoolwork does mean jack. Anyway, it was cute, (except for the fact that the person had just gotten run over by a bus...) ;) I liked the last stanza mostly, 'the bus doesn't stall to keep your flesh and blood together', that was well thought out and gives me something to ponder if I ever have nothing to do (lol not really).
Well, keep up the great writing, and maybe I'll read more of it!
