I, too, have a monster, that is within, and without, and a part of me. It is both darkness and light,... and I love it because it is me, and it is beautiful.

Wow. I love this poem. I also feel like their is a monster inside me, it controls my emotions. Yet I still manage to keep enough control that I don't break down in public. I leave that for when I get home. ;)

The bad sides are just the hardest to be in control because they want so much to be free from the rules that chains them. Hee, the monster do come from within. I love the way you describe the struggle the person has to put up with every second of everyday. Wonderful, absolutely one of the best poems I've ever read! =) Keep it up!
