This is really really well done. However, there were quite a few grammar and spelling mistakes you might want to look over, plus why do you go your Mom Mum? Did they do that back then? I wouldn't know.
But this story REALLY grabbed my attention and I didn't expect it to.
One more criticism though, your style of writing changed after the 2nd part and got more modern. But ... wow is all I can really say. Brilliant.

I've just read this and I think it's great! I can't wait for the next update and I can't wait too see what happens to Matt in Vietnam. Anyway, update soon and I must say that the style of writing was brilliant! Very fun and discriptive too read!

Wow. There is just something wow about a date that takes place in 1968. I love the 60's...and the 70's.
You're doing great. Perhaps you could review my story as well? It's based on the 70's. ^_^ But yours is great. I love the characters.
