Very nicely done. I love fairy tales, especially Peter Pan and Robin Hood.

I wrote a poem at one point called castles in the sky, or somesuch...this is infinitely better, although on a different subject. Blah I love your work. I'm going to run out of ways to say this.

Fantastic! It flows so well! I think after reading all the poetry I've read today I might just become a poetry nut... Well, I still can't deny a good fic, however... But I have too many of those to read. It's nice to just read a one-shot poem like this. It was great, btw. I loved it! And I just figured out your pen name is daydream believer backwards... coolness!

Love this! Daydreamers are the only ones who can travel to other worlds in their nightdreams, you know...
uh...did that make sense?

I loved it! I'm not exactly that kinda person but this has everything a good poem should have. Rhythm, rhyme, shape and sincerity!

Oh my god, this is so beautiful! ^_^ I hope I can write something as nice as this, I mean, with the same soul and depth, and yet, it didn't come out all forced or something... And I so love these lines:

"Ah, daydream believer, but the things we often see

"Are sadly only visions apparent to you and me

"We hide behind our books and thus, we do conceive

"Figments that lie between truth and make-believe.

"Within we exist in our own deep, secret lairs

"No less than monarchs of our castles in the air,

"We hope; we wish; we crave; we thirst; we weave;

"Immersed with our yearnings in the somber land of sleep.

"So go on, daydream believer, paint the heavens with your brush

"Capture the elusive moment of the sun’s first dawning blush,

"For a world so sorely cynical needs some magic of its own

"Dream for all, daydream believer, let your fantasies be known… "

-Warms my heart and soothes my soul... ^_^ This is really beautiful and touching, I apologize for the lack of terms. ^_^ Oh, and just in case I need a lovely poem as an introduction to some story of mine, can I use this, with your consent I mean. ^_^ I'll gladly tell everyone who the brilliant mind behind this! ^_^

a little angel reading a huge dusty book of fairy tales with words weaving a tapestry of pictures and adventures before an unseeing world. very pretty imagery. and i enjoy the meaning because i find it true to myself. your ending stanza had some vivid descriptions, excellent. and this "a kaleidoscope on clouds" holds a really fascinating picture. i like that idea a lot. one of your best, with imagation as your guide, setting free this pretty world. great.

If you're a mediocre writer, I must be downright bad. Great job...on everything!
