*Tilts head* A nice touch of irony in that poem, and the measure is good. I can't think of anything wrong with this poem. Good job. ^_^

Hey, thanks, everybody. I'm glad you liked it.

Hum. I'm not sure if it grew back again -hee. I think she just wanted it to fail or something, for justice to be done. I think she's trying to say that of all things to live on forever, there are more worthy things than just a rose.

A yellow rose - hee. I agree - red roses are rather overused. It's also that giving a yellow rose to someone means "I don't love you." So...yeah...

there's something intriguing about the idea of a yellow rose, maybe just because it's different from the somewhat overused red rose.. anyway, great poem. good rhyme scheme. i like the line 'like silk among the nettles'.

you write awesome poetry. I wonder though...did the rose die after it was picked, or did it go on living, outlasting the person who picked it? It was, after all, enchanted. By the way, I have a new chapter up on "The Dragon Box" please read, I enjoy your reviews.

Oh my god, White Rabbit, you've outdone yourself yet again. This is absolutely _amazing_. I think you definately have a future in writing! SO keep it up!

::chuckle:: Kinda ironic - seems like something I would do. I like the way you put this together. ;)
