I hate Brooke right now. Although I probably should reserve judgment until I hear what she has to say before hating but that’s just how I feel, for the moment anyway. What was D’Ange talking about? James and Her Majesty? I should probably read from the start.

I like it, I really do. But the characterisation just seems too dodgy to me. At one point you have Brooke as this confident girl who doesn't care what anyone thinks and the next you have her blushing and giving tentative smiles. You also give her a rebellious streak here and there then BOOM! She's mega bitch. The next second she openly flirting with a big grin on her face and suddenly she's slapping people and pouring drinks over their heads.
I like it though. I'm confused when it comes to Brooke though.

honestly this seems like a good story but girl you have to improve your writing quite a bit.
first i think its very inconsistent how brooke changes how she speaks when shes with ty or sy or when she's with james. i understand that sometimes friends talk differently but she seems like a whole different person. this actually stems from another problem you havent established your characters quite well. i mean brooke might just as well die and no one will really notice.
also improve on your pronoun use. sometimes you'll use he and the he will shift from hugh to james to sy. its so confusing.
honestly the story idea is quite good. but you sort of need to improve your execution. hope i helped
