Okay, here we go. I hated the original version of this story, so I got rid of it and I wrote this. This version is *much* better. So shut up, don't complain, and enjoy.

-==Chapter One: A visitor.

Alone.

All alone she was, existing within the darkness, the nothingness of the void for a hundred years, always surrounded by nothing, but, to her dismay, never part of it.

Never.

She embraced the nothing, the lonliness, the darkness, and preferred it over any sort of compainionship living beings could give her. She had known what it is to be with others like her. She had seen all that is good about it, and all that is bad, and she much preferred the void, where there was nothing to be seen, or heard, or felt, and there were no people there to play with what little emotion she had, and betray her as ruthlessly as they had.

Lamenting over all her wasted years she spent with THEM, she suddenly realized that, to her horror, she was not alone in this void. Someone was there with her. Someone whose energy structure seemed... familiar.

Immediately she made the first move, and called out, "Go away!"

Another voice called to her, a voice she did not know. She was slightly relieved that this person was not the person she thought it was, but she was still irritated that her space had been violated. Said the voice, "Excuse me?"

"You heard me."

She sensed the being move closer to her. "But... I wish to speak with you."

She moved back a little. "That is too bad, then."

"Please, just hear me out."

She paused. Knowing how people tended to act, she was sure that this being would not leave until he had said what he intended to. So, annoyedly, she said, "Make it brief."

"My name is Dalix," He introduced, "What's yours?"

"I have none."

"Then may I adress you by your energy signature?"

"If you wish."

"So I may call you 16-9-001-XX?"

She growled. "What do you want?"

He moved closer still. "I sense something strange in you."

She moved away again. "I am dead. Now begone."

"But darling, that doesn't explain it at all."

She couldn't help but become infuriated at him calling her 'darling.' "And I can absorb energy. So if you enjoy existance at all, you may wish to leave."

Again he got closer, which really started to aggrivate her. "That explains it."

"Now will you leave?"

"No."

She growled again, louder this time. "Why not? You have said what you wished to, yes?"

She could see the faint green glow of his energy structure approach, and he reached out to her. She quickly recoiled. "I wish to take you away from here, 001," Said he.

"I do not wish to leave."

"Why?"

She was sick of this being's questioning. "Go away."

"How did you die?"

"Go away."

"Did someone kill you?"

"Go away."

"Don't you want revenge?"

She didn't answer. He waited for a reply, but once he realized that there was not going to be one, he asked, "Well?"

She paused. "... I do."

"Then let me take you from this void."

He spoke of it as if it were a BAD thing! "I love this void."

"Then you can come back once we're done."

She shot him a glare. "We?"

"Yes."

"There is no We."

"Yes there is."

"There is only I."

"And I."

"There is no we."

He sighed. "Alright. But you and I shall have vengeance."

She was very annoyed by now. This person, she did not know him at all, and she was SURE he didn't know who she wanted revenge after. "Do you even know who I am after?!"

"Do you?"

Ugh. What a foolish question! Of COURSE she knew her target! "I am after Damon."

"Ahh... as am I."

See? It's BETTER. Now review this or I will inflict PAIN. And then you'll be sad. So review now.
