Then the rains come with the snow and hail
Buildings flooded, cars wrecked,
and lives lost
no one was prepared for this disaster
and now
No one is complete
Ignorance and blinders covered their eyes
If only they had taken them off
To see the storm in the distance,
And paid attention to the warnings given,
Instead of paying attention to themselves in the here and now.
