Ryan stared at us and I smiled. "Anna…Lucky…you guys." He was definitely confused, as was I.

I laughed and Lucky looked to be as confused as Ryan and me. "Okay first of all…Lucky." I looked at him. "How do you know my brother?"

He looked at Ryan then to me. "I met him during the summer and we've been pretty close friends." He thought harder. "Oh, I'm also the lead guitar player and singer for the band."

"So you're the infamous band member I haven't met." Speaking of band members, I looked at Chris and Colten. "Hey Huey, Duey."

They laughed and waved at me. Lucky looked at me. "Okay…now that you know who I am, what's the deal with you and Ryan?"

"I'm his sister," I simply said. Lucky looked dumbfounded and Ryan smirked.

"Dude, you never told me you had a sister."

I grinned. "Then obviously you didn't know that he had a twin either."

Lucky widened his eyes. "Ryan! First, you never told me that you had a sister-I thought the only siblings you had were your two brothers and that's it."

Ryan looked at me and slung his arm over my shoulders. "You didn't know that I have a sister who is my twin."

Lucky gaped at us. "You…Aeralie…twins…sister…"

Shrugging my shoulders, I walked over to the couch and plopped down on it. "It's not that big of a deal, anyway. I mean, we would've met, am I right?"

Lucky shook his head, brown tresses swaying to and fro in rhythm with the way he shook his head. I thought that it was cute.

"I guess…geez. You two are twins?"

I laughed and shifted so that I was sitting Indian style on the low–very low–couch. Ryan put his guitar on and laughed at Lucky as he did the same.

"Lucky…seriously dude, you need to calm down. And how exactly did you meet my sister?"

I answered for both of us. "I went to see dad today, and Lucky was in detention."

Ryan nodded and started to tune it now. "Seems logical."

I rested my head on the back of the couch and sighed. "So now that everything's settled, can I finally hear you guys play please? I haven't yet and you're killing me with suspense."

Ryan rolled his eyes at me. "I wish you were dead."

I laughed and threw a Skittle at him. "Shut up."

When everyone was ready, they started playing a song I heard Ryan practice on the guitar a few times.

I was beaming when they finished. They were really good. So freaking good, I wondered why no one has noticed them yet. They were making noise now and I laughed as I got up, walking to the door. I needed to get a drink. Entering the kitchen, I grabbed a bottle of water from the refrigerator and opened it, jumping on the counter. I started swinging my legs back and forth and sipped peacefully until Ryan walked in.

"I'm still in shock."

I shrugged and looked down at my feet. "I would have met him anyway, so what's a few weeks in advance do to you?"

He laughed and grabbed a bottle as well, sitting on the chair next to my legs. "So you drove Lucky here?"

I nodded. "I was just as surprised as you were when he told me to stop here."

"Are you going anywhere tonight?"

"I don't think so. Keeley's going out with Drew and…uh, I have nothing to do. Why?" I looked at him and he shrugged his shoulders.

"We're going out and I was wondering if you wanted to come." Considering that I had nowhere to go, that sounded like a plan to me.

"'Course I'll come. It'll make dad happy knowing that I'm spending time with you and you aren't skating." I laughed and Ryan shook his head.

"I guess dad thinks we're still seven."

"And inseparable."

I sighed and started swinging my legs back and forth again. "So where are we going?"

"The movies and after that, the skate park." I groaned.

"The skate park. It's always the skate park."

He smiled. "You can decline the offer, if you want. But you'll end up sitting here alone tonight with nothing to do."

I rolled my eyes, effectively proving my annoyance of Ryan's nonsense. "Whatever. I'll come, but I don't guarantee that I will have any fun there whatsoever," I said, throwing him a useless glare.

I laughed and jumped down as Ryan started chasing me. Running out the door, I ran behind Colton and locked my arms around his waist. Man shield!

Ryan sat down on the couch. "I'm not chasing you."

I stuck my tongue out at him. "Good. I would've thrown my water at you."

I unwrapped my arms from Colton and kissed his cheek before ruffling his blue hair. "Thanks for shielding me."

He laughed and returned the ruffling of hair. "I always do."

"What can I say, you're my knight in shining armor." Smiling at him, I took his drumsticks that were laying on the set and spun them around on my fingers in a snazzy skill that only Colton would know how to do, thus passing on his knowledge to me.

"She's coming with us tonight."

Lucky sat down next to Ryan. "What movie are we seeing?"

Ryan shrugged. "Whatever's out."

I was sitting on the stool watching Lucky. He seemed nice. Well, after our talk, I knew that I wanted to become friends with him. I'll admit, he's really cute, but it's not me to think about relationships right when I see a guy. It just never has been my thing.

"What movie would you like to see, Anna?"

I shrugged and threw the drumsticks at Chris. "I don't care. Just as long as I'm not bored. But do we have to go to the skate park? You guys always go and…I get bored."

Ryan chuckled. "You're never an easy one to please. Just go talk to people. I don't know why you didn't become a skater, Aeralie. You're surrounded by a whole fucking lot of people who do skate."

"That's only thirty four percent of the people I hang out with, Ryan." I rolled my eyes. "Maybe I just don't like skating. You made me skate one too many times for your own good. Me and skateboards don't mix. And I'm not very much inclined on receiving scrapes and bruises."

He sighed and leaned back. I took the drumsticks back and started beating a rhythm out…I mean, hanging around the guys too much did pay off somehow. Besides the skating stuff. Everything but the skating.

"Don't worry, I'll try not to get bored at the skate park today. Maybe I'll even talk to guys."

Ryan stared at me. "Oh no you're not."

I stopped playing and glared at my brother. "Why not? It's not like I'm going to jump them. God Ryan, you don't even know your own sister."

"Do you remember the last time you talked to a guy?"

I sighed. The last time I went to the skate park with them, I ended up kicking a guy in his…you know where. "That was two months ago!"

Lucky looked at us. "What happened two months ago?"

Chris laughed. "She kicked a guy in his balls."

Lucky's eyes widened and Ryan grinned. "See, no more talking to guys."

I shrugged. "It wasn't my fault. He was the one who said he wanted to…"ahem" me right then and there. It's called self defense against assholes like him." I accentuated ahem because I didn't want to flat out say that word that was incredibly vulgar and insulting. He totally deserved that kick.

"Well, I'll doubt that that'll happen tonight," Colton started. "I mean, whenever we go, guys always ask if you're with us. They're straight up scared of you."

Laughing, I rolled my eyes for about the fifth time. "You guys are silly. Your-and I'm referring the general male population-hormones are like a raging bull locked in a cage. Whenever you see a girl you like, that bull goes whoo!"

"Not all guys get…you know."

"Horny," I stated, picking at the hem of my shirt.

"Aeralie!"

I looked up. "What? I know not all guys do. But they should at certain times…not at a freaking skate park!"

Ryan got up and stretched. "Okaaay, this conversation has just progressed into awkward. So let's please not talk about hormones and guys, especially with you around, Aeralie. And anyway, we should be heading out before it gets late."

Lucky got up as well. "I need to go home and change."

Chris nodded. "I'll take you. I need to go home and change also."

They left and I sat on the couch between Colton and Ryan. We sat there for a while before Ryan turned to me.

"So...do you like Lucky?"

I turned to Ryan and tilted my head. "What do you mean?"

"Do you think he's a nice person? What else did you think I meant?"

I shook my head. "I don't know. But yeah, he's nice. How come I haven't seen him around before?"

"I don't know. You're never around."

"I'm always around."

"Apparently not when Lucky's around."

I stared down the street. "I like his name."

Colton laughed and nudged me. "At least you two have something in common. You both have weird names."

Laughing, I patted his knee and got up as Chris and Lucky pulled up in the driveway in his what I like to call his monster. "Time to go." I didn't notice the time go by that fast. Ryan grabbed his skateboard and walked out with Colton. He turned around and looked at me.

"Do you need to get something inside?"

I nodded. "Yeah. I need to get my sweater and lock the doors. Do you have your cell phone?"

He checked his pocket and nodded. I turned around and walked inside the house. I grabbed my hoodie from the couch and checked the stove and what not to see if they were off. Don't want the house burning down now. Walking out the front door, I locked it behind me and skipped down the front steps and toward the driveway. Ryan and Colton were standing at the back, trying to put their skateboards in the back.

I got in the backseat and soon after, Ryan and Colton came and we were on our way to the movie theater. I grabbed Ryan's phone and called my dad to tell him our plan. Yeah, he was excited but hey, it's all part of being a father. After I finished talking to him, I threw the phone at Ryan and it hit his head.

"Watch it!"

I rolled my eyes. "I'd be ecstatic to see you get a concussion." Ah, the things I do to my broher.
