Blinded in tears she ran down the street , as she passed people by they stared at her with puzzlement, Alexandra cursed to herself for going so hysterical because of what a stranger said she slowed down collapsing onto the pavement leaning against a shop's window, she continued to cry.
Tim ran after her, as the sun started to set and darkness was approaching he saw her slow down and panting a little he sat down beside her and looked to her with sorrow and pity on his face. "I'm really sorry, I guess I over reacted? But I'm serious; I really want to be your friend."
Tim leaned close to Alexandra and wiped her tears away gently and smiled trying to comfort her. She looked to him still a little dazed.
"Our lives are very different but we both have problems, we not help each other through it all? Friends?"
Tim extended his hand to her, Alexandra looked to him with bewilderment and smiled to him tears still in her eyes. A true friend she thought to herself. She hugged him tight bursting into hysterical tears once again.
Tim blinked as she hugged him not expecting that he smiled and hugged her back patting her back gently. "There now, everything will turn out for the best I'm sure of it"
Alexandra nodded her head and moved back and looked to the pavement. "You know, I think you're the only actual friend I have all my other friends are just snobs. Oh wait except one her name's Sarah. So I don't know much about you."
Tim smiled to her and looked to her thinking in his mind " some day we shall be more then friends." Tim started telling her all about her horrible home life and about his drug crazed mother. He could see the pity she felt for him as he stared into her glistening lime green eyes so in captivating.
Soon they knew each other pretty well exchanging address and phone numbers, in Alexandra's case her mobile number. As night came Tim offered to walk Alexandra home and she smiled. Tim got up and helped Alexandra also, not knowing what he was about to do was right for the time he done it anyway and grasp onto her hand gently and looked away.
"So, it's a beautiful night no?"
Tim started making conversation and hoped she didn't realise he was blushing. To his surprise she didn't pull back her hand and she started swinging her arm back and forth and smiled looking at the stars. "Yeah"
Tim smiled at looked at her smooth picturesque skin and how the even in the night's darkness she seemed to shine. As they dear near to her home, Tim looked at the beautifully built mansion with astonishment. The white marble columns and neatly mowed lawn with dazzling flower beds.
Alexandra looked to Tim and giggled seeing his face and finally let go off his hand, she felt warmth inside her that she couldn't explain and even though she was finally going to face her mother things seemed more pleasant now with Tim, she gave him a quick peek on his cheeks and giggled again seeing him blush.
Watching Alex walk to the gate he put his hand into his pocket and smiled not knowing if her kiss was a friendly one he liked it all the same. "Remember if you need anything phone me, I'm always here for you."
Alex nodded and walked inside. Tim watched as the gates closed behind her and he stared to head home with the biggest smile he had in all him lifetime. Hoping everything would go alright for her.

"Where have you been? No call! No note! No nothing!" Mrs Edwards said in her white silk robe.
"Young lady explain yourself." Mr Edward said in a stern tone.
"I'm 18, and it's not as if I went out for the whole bloody night, it's only eight. Just go out and say it, I'm not good enough, I'm irresponsible, I'm not trustworthy!"
Mr Edward sat down on the couch with a sigh and shook his head. "Why if only you would listen to us, we love you, were only doing this for you own welfare."
Alexandra had only walked in and questions were asked and accusations were made without her even opening her mouth she looked frustrated throwing her backpack on the floor grabbing her law studies test throwing it onto the floor. "Horseshit! Love me? You only want to impress those big other co- operate idiots that you have such a smartass daughter. Well here you go you satisfied?!"
Mrs Edwards who was still standing looked utterly outraged and she glanced down at her daughter's grade and looked back up in shock. "Eighty?! An eighty! What have you been doing lately? Been up in the clouds with your friends?"
"Mother, if you were even close to that title you would realise that I hardly go out, I don't even talk to anyone on my phone most of the time I sit in my room wallowing in the misery that is my life! Not once have you ever treated me right, I do everything you ask. But one mistake and it blows up in my face so this time I thought what the fuck why bother trying. YOU'RE NEVER SASTISFIED!"
Mrs Edwards walked over to her daughter and slapped her down across the cheek making Alexandra stumble looking back up with a red cheek.
"Go to your room! You're insolent and rude and how dare you use that tone on me!"
Alexandra close to tears looked to her mother "I hate you and one day I'll die and you'll know that I HATE YOU and will always hate you!"
Alexandra walked ran out of the front door, her mother ran after her and stood there at the door. "Alexandra come back here or so help me god you shall never step foot in this house again!"
But Alexandra continued to walk down the gravel path to the gate "Oh fuck off mother."
Clenching her fist she continued to walk down the street no longer feeling melancholy, but feeling outraged at her bitch of a mother she dug into her blazer's pocket and pulled out Tim's address, she found her hand shaking uncontrollably either from rage or timidness.

Tim hummed merrily opening the door to his run down apartment as he walked in he kicked some empty beer cans from his path. He looked around seeing that his mother has made a mess of the living room again. He found her lying on the tethered couch and he could she that she had been drinking a lot.
Leaving her alone he began cleaning the apartment and smiled thinking about Alexandra, he hummed as he cleaned finally done he had a big rubbish bag. He saw his mother stirred and heard her growling at the noise so Tim stopped humming, he placed the bag down and walked over to her hearing her groan as she got up.
He kneeled down and looked to her, she looked back with menacing glare she got up mumbling to herself, her dark blonde hair in a mess she sluggishly put on a old black leather jacket and without another glance to her son she walked out and slammed the door behind her. Tim stood up alone once more he took the trash downstairs.
Struggling a bit he threw the bag into the alleyway and started making his way back to the front door of the apartment block when he heard his name he turned to see Alexandra and she smiled to him slightly.
He walked over to her and saw the tears in her eyes and took her hand gently. "Alexandra what are you doing here?"
She squeezed his hand gently and tried to answer him, as the tears started to flow down her cheek. Tim looked and saw her left cheek was a little bruised and he knew what had happened he softly stroked her cheek. "I'm going to kill that bitch you call a mother!"
