Humanity's perfection
lies not in the detection
of all the neuroses
nor the many fallacies
to which we fall victim,
for in this world so grim,
nothing but our quirks
will save us from that which lurks,
the greatest possible enemy,
our own growing apathy.

Not especially different from a couple of others I've written, basically here because I wanted to see if it was worth saving from the trash can. Originally part of a longer piece, but the rest didn't add much, I do have a couple of ideas for expansion on it, let me know if you think its worth the time.
