3The two pods split up, circling around to the colony's north and south gates.
Pod 1 transmission: We are getting close-ups now, the colony has been torn apart. We're picking up plasma weapons signatures. Our gate is locked on this end, but the wall is open.
Pod 2 transmission: We've got the same readings, proceed.
Pod 1: Affirmative. Out.
Both pods weave through the wreckage. All that is left of the colony is a barren waste. The pods set their courses to rendezvous in the main plaza of the ruined colony. One pod stops.
Pod 2: Pod 1, come in, I believe we have found the cause of the wreckage.
Pod 1: Confirm discovery, rendezvous at designated area by 04:00 hours. (Yes, four in the morning.)
Pod 2: ...Affirmative...Out.
Pod 2 Commander (Ivan): Let's get on E-suits and inspect this... threat.
(Crewmembers of Pod 2 are Saroc, Aaron, Rudy, Samantha, Natasha, and Jake.)
The crew leaves the pod with the exception of Natasha, who is assigned to mission status.
Aaron: This is a ship.
Jake: Uh, yeah. Took you awhile.
Aaron: No, no I mean this looks like an Op12 series, they were all decommissioned. Except two. They...
Saroc: ...went missing.
Ivan: Has anyone seen Natasha? Wait, what was that?
