Faeries

Dancing ever upon –

Their notional lil' abode

Are air faeries called:

…Sylph…

Protecting sylvan –

Are the giggly earth faeries

by the name known as:

…Dryad…

Splashing about streams

With voices lovely than thee;

The gods of river:

…Naiad…

Sylph, Dryad, Naiad,

Thy grace and beauty shall not…

…be forgotten…ever…

Got the idea from some ancient Greek literature. I just want to dedicate this haiku to my friend, white_soul for being such a nice friend throughout the year. Thank you.
